Capabilities

AHT operates in its 35,000 sf Wilmington, Delaware facility, offering a broad range of heat treating processes and capabilities, as well as ancillary services:

• Stress-relieving service that is among the best on the eastern seaboard. Our large carbottom furnace can handle jobs up to 22 feet long, at temperatures up to 1,900 ºF.
• Multiple integral quench continuous batch furnaces can process high volumes in controlled atmospheres, with temper capacity to match.
• Such specialized processes as induction and vacuum heat treating, carburizing and nitriding, aluminum heat treating, flame hardening, shrink fitting, and more.
• Excellent overhead lift capacity, as well as black oxide finishing, straightening, and other related capabilities. We can sandblast parts up to 20′ long and 15,000 lbs.
